My name is Raja Chandrasekaran but my friends call me Nutto .
I was born in a refreshing summer day, on April 9th 1987, in a small town in the southern part of the city named Thanjavur, Tamilnadu,India.
When I was little, I already knew that music was going to be my main attraction, my dream, my life.
At my friends parties I was the cherry on top. I used to take my friends guitar and do a Linkin Park & A R Rahman impression. By the way, A R Rahman & Linkin Park is my idol since I was 8 years old, I grew up on his music.
My artistic talent wasn't taken too seriously by my parents, since neither was a musician, by my friends were amazed by me and asked me to sing at the shows celebrating the end of school.
I had the musical debut when I was 14, with one song .
I had a great success in my home town, making their way to the Le Royal Meridien Hotel, Chennai. The boom just happened.
I left the lights for some time, while I lived my teenage years. I knew that everything will piece together and that I had to be patient. All I had to do was to wait for the moment to get back on the stage and prepare for it.
Finishing high school brought me to Sikkim with the excuse of University, but that was mainly to my parents. My main interest was music.
In Sikkim I got in contact with lot of friends from the industry, and I even made some friends, though that wasn't exactly easy, but no one joined me to form a musical band. It was me all alone from start till now. Coming from a small town, to conquer the big one, without any single grain of help (sounds like the beginning of a movie right?).
I would like to thank my dream city Singapore and the people of Singapore for the support, love & care. Singapore is my home away from home.
I am also the proud member of Music For Relief.
Music For Relief is a grassroots effort comprised of musicians, music industry professionals and fans who believe that together we can create positive change.
BACKGROUND: Established in 2005 to provide aid for those affected by the Indian Ocean Tsunami, the idea for Music For Relief originated amongst the members of the band Linkin Park who wanted to do something to help those affected. The idea was that if they made a donation, and then asked their musician peers and their fans to make a donation as well, a huge impact could be made in assisting relief efforts. With this in mind, they started reaching out to others in the music community to get involved and became the founders of Music For Relief.
